Mills Pond Elementary School students sprinted, laughed and partied at their annual PTA Fun Run fundraiser on Oct. 19.
The fundraiser raised more than $21,000 for the school’s Cultural Arts program. After marching out by class holding banners, the students ran laps on the field as family members cheered and took pictures.
Because the fundraiser exceeded the $15,000 goal, Principal Ireen Westrack and teacher’s aide, Miss Lori, agreed to be “silly string” targets.
