Additional Details:
On April 4th, The Boys lacrosse Team hosted a “Goals for Giving event”. This was a game where they solicited sponsors to raise money to build communication boards for our playgrounds. These boards would help our non-verbal special needs students communicate with their peers and teachers, while promoting an inclusive environment for all. Many of our students rely on an electronic device to communicate their wants and needs. The boards would help them on the playground when their devices weren’t easily accessible to them. Our athletes did an amazing job spreading the word and raising funds to help special needs students within their own community. They rasied a total of 8730.00, which was amazing! The boys worked diligently to promote acceptance and inclusivity throughout our community, and we couldn’t be more proud of them.
