About:
Students in the Sheila Dempsey’s Language in the Community Class and Career Exploration classes at West Hempstead High School recently celebrated Autism Awareness Month by creating puzzle piece keychains using a 3D printer. The students began preparations for the project in February, using the 3D modeling program Tinkercad to create their designs. They printed the key chains daily and distributed one to each staff member in the building.
