About:
At W.T. Clarke High School in the East Meadow School District, students in the Dog Rescue Club recently hosted a dog supplies drive, while the students in the Key Club hosted a canned food drive. Club leaders set up a decorated box by the school’s front entrance for students and staff to drop off donations throughout the month of December.
The dog supplies were donated to Second Chance Animal Rescue and Last Hope Animal Rescue, while the canned food was donated to LI Helpers. The youth lead nonprofit organization provides food for local families in need and was founded by W.T. Clarke High School alumna Misha Khan.
