BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Oct. 26, 2015) – The LIU Post men’s lacrosse team recently held a clinic for Empire Lacrosse, a local youth travel program in Suffolk County.
The Pioneers put the seventh and eighth graders through drills and game situations. There was also special instruction given to the goaltenders and face-off specialists.
“It was great for our guys to put on a clinic to help the lacrosse community,” stated Head Coach John Jez. “Each of our student-athletes took to their own positions and assisted the kids in honing their skills.”
Following the clinic, the kids stayed around to watch the Pioneers practice, giving them the opportunity to see how the game is played at the collegiate level.
