As League City resumed regular operations Thursday, Clear Creek ISD athletes helped clean up homes in one of the city’s hardest-hit neighborhoods, Clear Creek Village.
Football, baseball and volleyball players gathered salvageable items and carried heavy furniture and debris out of flooded homes in the neighborhood that sits next to Clear Creek west of the Gulf Freeway.
“We’ve got kids out here working, trying to give back to the community because they support us in everything we do,” said Craig Dailey, head football coach at Clear Springs High School.
